Changing Direction

I grew frustrated with the home automation market. The experience has been less than expected from all of the major players and the innovation has been quite slow as well. I am no longer doing these systems full time and it has more become more of a hobby that I help others with. I still have a love for it an expect that automation will continue to improve. For now I will continue to use Control4 for more professional systems and HomeKit for the more basic residential systems. Going forward I will use this blog to discuss a wider array of home related items spanning from construction methods to home automation. I hope that someone finds value in it.
